1) Hold off on PhD because it may not be worth it if you go into the field that doesn't require that. I would wait, it'll always be there. 2) What if you went into business development for a hospital, hospice, clinic of some sort? Operations manager, technology specialist for a hospital, nursing home, etc. That will get you in the door to find various desired positions. See if you like technology or business in healthcare better. If you do that in a healthcare setting it may open up views that you like and dislike about the two sides. I hope this helps. Good luck!
