With a B/S in Information Technology and Master in Business Admin degree, what is a good Doctorate to pursue?

I did the same undergrad and masters, and I went with a PhD in Instructional Technology. My other choice was to do MIS. If I had to do it again, I think I'd go with the PhD in MIS, but for my specific situation, it has worked out well to do Instructional Technology.

I thought your BA, MA and PHd had to be in the same or similar subjects when you pursue PHd? How can you have all 3 in something different? Me: Finishing an engineering undergrad and trying to figure out postgrad options like yourself.
